I think that also explains why some are infatuated with young guys. +Gay men 'start late' and often don't start having sex till their early 20s or later, so want to make up for it in late 20s, 30s, 40s etc.
At least not in light of the women I know! Also, lesbians have lots and lots of sex too. I don't see sexualization of the gay scene as resulting from the 'women put the breaks on sex' idea.
